Fletcher to celebrate 30th birthday on Saturday

The Town of Fletcher will celebrate its 30th anniversary on Saturday with music, a Kids Zone, food trucks, a birthday cake and fireworks at Bill Moore Park.

The Fletcher Family Festival starting at 4 p.m. will also include inflatables, touch a truck, a deejay and more. Gates open at 4 p.m. Fireworks will be launched at 8 p.m. You must be in the park no later than 7:30 p.m. to view the fireworks. Overflow parking will be available at Fern Leaf Charter School and on Robert Parrish Drive. For the safety of your pets and all guests, the town asks that you please leave your pets at home due to the loud noise of the fireworks.
The festival is free and open to the public thanks to title sponsor Advent Health Hendersonville. Other sponsors include Veritas Christian Academy, Big Frog Custom T-shirts & More, Mountain Credit Union, United Federal Credit Union, Center for Martial Arts USA and OpSource Staffing.

Here's the schedule:

  • 4 – 6 p.m. - DJ Brandon Washington 4-7 p.m. - Touch-a-Truck and Vendor Expo
  • 4-7:30 p.m. - Kids Zone, Food Trucks and BINGO
  • 5:30 p.m. - Birthday Cake Cutting
  • 6-8 p.m. - The Flashback Band
  • 8 p.m. - Fireworks
