Habitual felon sentenced to 17-22 years in prison

A 43-year-old Hendersonville man was sentenced to up to 22 years in prison after a Henderson County Superior Court jury found him guilty of numerous burglary, larceny and other felonies and also declared him to be a habitual offender, District Attorney R. Andrew Murray announced.   Read Story »

Two charged in connection with misdemeanor child abuse

Henderson County sheriff’s deputies on June 30 charged a 23-year-old man with child abuse and a 24-year-old woman with failing to report a crime against a juvenile after she later turned herself in voluntarily, the agency said in a news release.   Read Story »
