Fire trucks, tractors, floats, llamas and even a rare a summer cameo by Santa Claus highlighted Hendersonville's All American Fourth of July Parade on Saturday, July 3.
Richard Labunski, a retired University of Kentucky journalism professor who lives in Flat Rock, produced a video of the parade (watch here).
Hundreds of people turned out in almost perfect weather to see the floats, antique cars, jeeps, and dozens of marchers and riders. The parade featured numerous public officials and others who are well-known in Henderson County, including U.S. Rep. Madison Cawthorn, who covered the route in his wheelchair.
Labunski, who has lived in Flat Rock since 2013, has also made videos as a volunteer for the Friends of the Library, Friends of Carl Sandburg and the Blue Ridge Humane Society.
