Griffin to kick off re-election campaign on Saturday
Henderson County Sheriff Lowell Griffin, who defeated incumbent Sheriff Charlie McDonald in a May 2018 Republican primary, will run for re-election in 2022.
Griffin, who announced his bid for a second term on Friday, will formally kick off the campaign from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Jackson Park picnic shelter No. 1. The event will feature food, fixins and family fun, the campaign said.
