What do you do in your volunteer job?
I volunteer in the craft department. I take care of all the crafty stuff, sorting boxes, pricing it and getting it out on the floor According to the crafters, I have the best craft department in town.

How long have you been volunteering?
Since 2005.

Why do you volunteer?

I believe in the cause. It’s for the animals. I enjoy it too. You never know what you’re going to find.

What’s the best thing about volunteering?

I just enjoy getting out and meeting people and all the people at the store. I enjoy being out and about. I don’t sit very well.

If someone is interested in volunteering, what advice would you give based on your own experience?

I would tell them to come down and look at the place, talk to the manager and assistant manager. They can find them something they can do. The animals are not there. Just come down. We can find something whatever your interest is. We can always use people.
