New four-way stop brings relief at hazardous intersection

Motorists tired of making the hazardous left or right turn from Airport Road onto Tracy Grove Road have gotten a break, thanks to the NCDOT. A new all-way stop is up at the intersection, which has become increasingly busy in recent years and is likely to get more so if numerous housing developments in the Tracy Grove, South Allen and Upward road area come to pass. Developments approved by or pending before the Hendersonville City Council include senior developments on South Allen Road and Tracy Grove Road, an apartment complex on South Allen Road and a major development on Wilmont Drive off of Tracy Grove Road.
