Lenoir man charged with trying to meet 13-year-old for sex here

Following an investigation over several weeks, Internet Crimes Against Children Team of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 50-year-old Lenoir man and charged him with attempting to meet in Hendersonville with a 13-year-old child for sex.

Glenn Joseph Hull, charged with solicitation of a child through the internet in an attempt to meet for sex, was jailed in the Henderson County Detention Facility under a $45,000 bond. On Friday, March 25, detectives arrested Hull after he drove to a pre-arranged location in Henderson County believing he was going to meet the child. He is charged with one felony count of solicitation of child by computer or electronic device to commit an unlawful sex act and one count of obscene literature and exhibitions.
