TRACKING ARP: Flat Rock

The village of Flat Rock has spent only a fraction of the $1,078,153 it received from the American Rescue Plan Act.
“There was a provision called premium pay, where you could pay your employees premium pay for the period that they were working during the pandemic because so many places shut down,” Mayor Nick Weedman said.
Like Hendersonville, the village of Flat Rock will consider giving grants to nonprofit organizations.
“We had set up a system which has an application and we’ll open it up and ask people to submit applications for grants,” the mayor said.
