ArtScape banners to be revealed March 11
This year's ArtScape, the colorful public art banners that adorn light poles downtown, will be revealed from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at the Art Place Gallery and Workshops, 2021 Asheville Highway, the Art League of Henderson County announced.
The banner reveal includes refreshments, food and a chance to meet the artists and the banner sponsors. The public is invited. Artwork will be available for sale. Thirty banners have been chosen through a juried and curated process to be displayed along Main Street and downtown avenues.
ArtScape, a program of the Art League of Henderson County, was founded in 2017. The program is supported by the Tourism Development Authority of Henderson County, the city of Hendersonville and corporate and private sponsors.
