Flat Rock, county partner to buy emergency truck

Henderson County's Emergency Medical Service will get a new quick-response vehicle and training equipment thanks to a $65,000 American Rescue Plan donation from the Village of Flat Rock matched by Henderson County.

County commissioners on Monday night authorized a $35,000 match to cover the balance of the cost of the rescue truck plus EMS training simulators and mannequins.
