COOL! Pickleball Nation gets air conditioning — as do hoopsters and spikers

Pickleball Nation — sweat no more.

The new air conditioning in the Henderson County Athletics & Activity Center on South Grove Street was completed Monday and is working today — or will be whenever it turns warm enough to need it.

"Everything is up and running. The gym is open again and everything is working," county Communications Director Mike Morgan said. "You know how it is — gyms in the summer get kinda hot. So it'll be good for all our teams — basketball, volleyball, pickleball."
