Kanuga offers Mother's Day buffet

Kanuga invites the community to celebrate Mother's Day with a special brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 14.

Featuring selections from Kanuga's new chef, Bruno Martin, the brunch buffet includes herb-crusted prime rib, salmon with lemon dill aioli, roasted Brussel sprouts with balsamic vinaigrette, charcuterie, salad bar and more, topped off with blueberry crepes and chocolate chip cheesecake.

Mimosas and Bloody Marys will also be available. Guests can enjoy the grounds and trails, as Kanuga's 21 miles of hiking trails will be open, as well as Daisy's Lake Trail, which is an easy walk encircling Kanuga Lake. The waterfront will also be open for swimming and boating, with canoes and kayaks available, weather permitting.

The buffet is $39 for adults, $15 for children 3-12, and free to children under 3.
