Highland Lake Road now closed to thru traffic

FLAT ROCK — Highland Lake Road is closed to thru traffic now that work is under way on the $10 million widening project. Although the NCDOT-designated detour is to use Shepherd Street between Greenville and Spartanburg highways, West Blue Ridge Road and Brooklyn Avenue are also options.
