In response to community and client input, the Henderson County Department of Public Health is extending clinic appointment hours. The change comes as a result from data gathered from the community through the department's online survey and from patient surveys. The extended appointment hours will begin on Mondays starting March 4.
"We want to serve the community. Based on survey responses, we realized that a demand exists for extended hours," Terri Arrington, QA/Project Coordinator, said in a news release. "By offering extended hours for clinic patient appointments, we give more flexibility to our clients."
Clinic appointments can be made by calling (828) 692-4223 starting at 8 a.m. each weekday. The Immunization Clinic hours remain unchanged (8:00 – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday). Business hours for the Department of Public Health are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The survey is still available for community input on the Department of Public Health's website at www.hendersoncountync.org/health.
