You can recycle Christmas trees, bad lights, foam on Saturday

MountainTrue will once again host the annual Christmas tree recycling 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at Jackson Park, 801 Glover St.

Bring your trees and wreaths to be chipped onsite into mulch and containers to haul away fresh mulch for your gardens and landscaping. Please be prepared to carry your tree and wreath yourself. Volunteers will also be collecting foam (clean and empty foam packaging) and the Henderson County 4-H Club will collect string lights. Trees and wreaths can be dropped off as early as New Year's Day; all other items will be accepted on the event day.
