Power outage delays delivery of this week's Lightning

A power outage at the U.S. Postal Service's main office at the Blue Ridge Mall on Wednesday will cause a one-day delay in delivery of this week's Lightning. The Lightning's distribution team will deliver addressed newspapers to the mall post office, annex and rural post offices early Thursday. In most cases, that means subscribers will get their July 31 issue on Friday instead of Thursday. Thank you for understanding.
