THERE IS NO ACTIVE SHOOTER ON MAIN STREET

Rumors notwithstanding, "First responders have confirmed there is no active shooter on Main Street," city spokeswoman Allison Justus said at 10:43 a.m. Wednesday. Someone was turning motorists away from Main Street at , saying there was an active shooter. "There is no threat," Justus said, adding the confirmation had come from Chief Blair Myhand.
