HAC proposes 132 apartments on Dermid Avenue

The Housing Assistance Corp. wants to build a 132-unit multifamily development for affordable apartments on Dermid Avenue off Duncan Hill Road and behind Lowe's.

Margaret LeBeck of HAC has applied for a rezoning of 10.5 acres from Low Density Residential to Urban Residential Conditional Zoning District for the development of complex.

City planners will host a neighborhood compatibility meeting on the request at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, in the second floor meeting room of City Hall, 160 6th Avenue East.
