Don't remove 'lost fawn' from the woods

A "spotted" fawn that appears abandoned is merely awaiting a visit from its mother, so South Carolinians are advised by SCDNR to leave it there. [SCDNR PHOTO]

If a deer fawn is found alone in the woods, leave it there. Its mother has not abandoned it; she is probably nearby.
