Showers and thunderstorms forecast through Saturday

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue tonight through Friday with a 60 percent chance of rain or higher each day.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely tonight before midnight, bringing new rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms, the National Weather Service reports. Showers are likely again on Thursday with a thunderstorm after 4 p.m., an 80 percent chance of rain and a high of 83.  Showers and thunderstorms are likely again on Friday and Saturday, with a 60 percent chance of rain both days and highs in the mid-80s.
