City hosts Splash Day on Saturday

The city will host Hendersonville Splash Day Saturday, Aug. 2, in the Historic Seventh Avenue District.

Splash Day will include water fun with the Fire Department from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., free mini-golf all day at the city course at Five Points, snow cones, hot dogs, snacks and drinks. When it approved the event on July 3, the City Council authorized the closing of a portion of Locust Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
