Daisy Award winner Frannette Miller poses with team at AdventHealth.
Frannette Miller, a registered nurse known for the ray of light she shines on the lives of her patients every day in the Behavioral Health Unit at AdventHealth Hendersonville, has been honored as winner with the DAISY Award, the hospital announced.
As a behavioral health nurse, Miller demonstrates uncommon compassion every day and consistently goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care and hope to her patients who are going through difficult seasons in life.
“She is one of the most amazing people I have ever met,” a patient who nominated Miller said. “When I had to come back to the unit after being discharged, the moment I saw her I knew I was going to be okay. She is the person Florence Nightingale had in mind when she imagined nurses who lead with their hearts as well as their minds. I can never thank her enough for being a part of saving my life.”
The DAISY Award is part of a national program established by the DAISY Foundation to honor nurses who exemplify clinical excellence, compassionate care and a deep commitment to the healing ministry of Christ.
