Public urged to greet Honor Flight military veterans at AVL at 7 tonight

Blue Ridge Honor Flight encourages the public to greet military veterans at Asheville Regional Airport tonight when they return from a visit to Washington, D.C., to see war memorials and to have their service honored. Park at Gate 7 of the WNC Ag Center and take a free shuttle to Signature Air Hangar. Parking opens at 6:45 p.m. Bring flags, signs, flowers, cameras and all the love and gratitude you’ve got. The flight includes one World War II veteran, four Korean War veterans, 79 Vietnam War veterans and three Gold Star Family members.
