Candlelight prayer vigil for Charlie Kirk is set for Historic Courthouse Monday

A candlelight prayer vigil has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday, at the Historic Courthouse to pray for and honor Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder who was assassinated during an appearance at a university in Utah on Wednesday.

"Please join us to pray, sing, and light a candle to remember and honor the good work God did through Charlie's life," organizers said, and "to pray for his family, our country, and those he has touched to lead with faith, boldness and compassion."
