The city of Hendersonville is inviting the public to celebrate the holiday season with a touch of history during the 2025 Holiday Historic Inns Tour & Cookie Caper on Sunday, Dec. 7.

Sponsored by Hendersonville's Historic Preservation Commission and the Henderson County Tourism Development Authority, this self-driving tour from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. invites participants to explore the charm of historic inns and vacation rentals decorated for the holidays while enjoying unique holiday treats along the way. The event offers a unique opportunity to delve into Hendersonville’s rich history. Ticket holders receive a brochure featuring a map and brief histories of each property, allowing them to design their own route through the area’s historic treasures.

“The Historic Preservation Commission is delighted to share Hendersonville’s historic charm during the holiday season, and we’re excited to welcome some new inns to the tour this year,” board chair Cheryl Jones said. “This celebration is a wonderful reminder of the traditions that make our city feel like home.”
Proceeds from the event support the Historic Preservation Commission’s work in preserving the city’s three local historic districts, six local landmarks and eight districts listed on the National Register of Historic Places while expanding preservation initiatives throughout the city.
Participating Historic Inns Include:
• Elizabeth Leigh Inn
• Osceola Lake Inn
• Echo Mountain Inn
