Asheville man charged with firing shots into a car at McDonald's

Hendersonville police have charged a 34-year-old man, Julian Reshawn Suber, of Asheville, with multiple felonies after investigating reports of shots fired on Monday morning at McDonald’s on Four Seasons Boulevard, the city said.

Suber is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm by felon and firing into an occupied vehicle. Shortly after the shooting, Suber was arrested at a home in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He has been taken to the Spartanburg County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Henderson County.
The Hendersonville Police Department thanked the Henderson County and Spartanburg County sheriff’s offices for assisting officers and detectives in quickly apprehending the suspect. Police used license plate reader technology to identify the suspect's vehicle and help officers intercept Suber as he arrived at the South Carolina home.
