Man, 35, charged with sex offense against a minor in Edneyville

The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force of the Henderson County Sheriff's Office charged a 35-year-old man with two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor on Wednesday after deputies executed a search warrant at a residence in Edneyville. Evodio Bautista Rodriguez remained jailed Thursday in the Henderson County Detention Center.

 The incident is part of an ongoing investigation, and no other information will be released at this time. In a court of law all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
