Credit union helps bring Blessings in Boxes to hundreds

United Federal Credit Union employees partnered with The Storehouse to purchase gifts for children in need in Henderson County, North Carolina, as part of The Storehouse’s Blessings in Boxes community initiative.

“Our partnership with The Storehouse continues to inspire us year after year,” said United Credit Analyst David Crow. “We are proud to support Blessings in Boxes and help bring joy to families in our community during the holiday season.”

The Storehouse is a non-profit organization based in Hendersonville. It provides food and hygiene products to people with limited financial resources and, often, limited life skills. Its annual Blessings in Boxes program provides clothing and toys to children as well as coats, hats, gloves, and blankets to anyone in need during the holiday season.

“In times like these, community support makes all the difference,” said Lynn Staggs, executive director and founder of The Storehouse. “United’s commitment over the past nine years has helped us bring hope and happiness to countless families during the holidays.”
