An anti-child trafficking organization is planning a two-day town hall at Horse Shoe Farm next month to publicize solutions and actionable steps to protect children from trafficking.
"Focused on solutions, our speakers will share practical ideas, suggestions, and actionable steps to protect our children and combat this crisis," the organization, Awake & Bold, said in a news release. "The extent of child trafficking in America is no longer a myth—it's a pressing reality discussed in public forums, on social media and at dinner tables across the nation. Trafficking knows no boundaries, affecting children regardless of race, age, or socioeconomic status. Children across the U.S. and around the globe are at risk."
