Mountain Home man charged in East Flat Rock car break-ins

A 48-year-old Mountain Home man remained jailed on Saturday after Henderson County sheriff’s deputies charged him with 15 counts related to a series of vehicle break-ins in East Flat Rock.

Patrol deputies and detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division responded early Wednesday morning to 911 reports of breaking and entering several motor vehicles in the East Flat Rock area. During the course of the investigation, scene processing and witness interviews led deputies to identify and locate a suspect, James Edward Loughery. They found Loughery near the area where the car break-ins occured arrested him without incident.
