Landowner seeks rezoning to allow 22 townhomes off Stoney Mountain Road

The owner of a 5-acre site on Cornerstone Way off Stoney Mountain Road is seeking a rezoning to permit 10 existing duplexes to be subdivided to create 20 townhome units and the addition of two new townhomes on a vacant parcel.

The applicant, 2020 Builders LLC, and property owner Daniel Yost Irrevocable Trust are seeking a change from R-10 Medium Density Residential to PRD Planned Residential Development Conditional Zoning District to allow the development.

City planners will host a neighborhood compatibility meeting at 2 p.m. Friday, May 22, in the second floor meeting room of City Hall, 160 Sixth Avenue East. A neighborhood compatibility meeting allows the neighboring homeowners and others to ask questions after the applicant presents a summary of the development plans.
