National Night Out happens Oct,. 6 at Walmart

The Hendersonville Police Department and Henderson County Sheriff’s Office will co-host National Night Out from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, in front of the Walmart Garden Center, 250 Highlands Square Drive.

The free event will feature emergency equipment displays from city police and fire, public works and water and sewer and other agencies. Activities include a bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, face painting, games, raffle prizes and vendor and nonprofit booths. The Ellaberry Farm Llamas will return by popular demand.
