Unspoken Tradition closes Rhythm & Brews season Oct. 15

Unspoken Tradition headlines the final Rhythm & Brews concert on Thursday, Oct. 15.

Unspoken Tradition, a North Carolina–based quintet that's equal parts hard-driving fire and heartfelt sincerity, headlines the final Rhythm & Brews concert on Thursday, Oct. 15, following opening act the Finkelstein Three.

Unspoken Tradition’s music reflects the evolving culture of Western North Carolina, the place they proudly call home. Their songs echo the resilient spirit of Appalachia while pushing the boundaries of modern roots music.

Dubbed a "jazzgrass" and "jamgrass" powerhouse, Finkelstein Three crafts a sonic experience that is both deeply rooted and effortlessly modern. Their eclectic repertoire shifts seamlessly from the high-lonesome classics of Bill Monroe to the timeless melodies of the Beatles and the sophisticated compositions of Chick Corea.

Opening acts will kick off each evening at 5:30 p.m. followed by the headliner performance at 7:30.

Families can find plenty of entertainment at the Kids Zone, presented by Mike’s on Main Street, where younger guests can enjoy activities designed just for them. Meanwhile, adults can unwind in the Rhythm & Brews beer, cider, and wine garden, featuring a variety of locally crafted beverages from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Bold Rock Hard Cider, Guidon Brewing Co., Oklawaha Brewing Co., Dry Falls Brewery, Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards and Flat Rock Cider Co.

Please leave pets and coolers at home. Chairs are allowed on the Wells Fargo side of the event near the Kids Zone. There are several free and paid parking options available near the show. The closest paid parking is in the private lot at Barnwell and Main (with access from King Street only). On-street parking is free outside of Main Street and the avenues to Church and King streets.
