ELECTION 2016: Incumbent commissioners, judges file

Henderson County commissioners Charlie Messer and Grady Hawkins filed for re-election on Wednesday, the second day of the campaign qualifying period for the 2016 elections. Also filing were District Court judge Athena Brooks and Emily Cowan.

Messer is seeking a fifth term and Hawkins a fourth term on the Board of Commissioners.
