SCHOOLS CLOSED

With icy roads continuing to create hazardous conditions, Henderson County schools officials called off school shortly before 8 a.m. today. County offices  will open at 10 a.m. BRCC is opening at 11 a.m. today.

The forecast calls for patchy fog before 11 a.m. then partly sunny skies with a high near 47. 

There's a chance of rain before midnight, then a chance of rain and snow between midnight and 4 a.m. Wednesday and a chance of snow after 4 a.m. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible, the National Weather Service. The high Wednesday should be near 46.
