Sheriff's office seeks help finding runaway

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Department and Department of Social Services asked for the public’s assistance in locating a runaway juvenile.

Meliah Shantell Allen, 16, was last seen in Henderson County on March 22. Allen also has two outstanding arrest warrants; a sheriff's office news release did not say for what charges. The sheriff's office asked that anyone with information about Meliah Allen's whereabouts to call Detective Cecillia Rossell at 828-697-4912 or the Henderson County Department of Social Services at 828-694-6281.
