Missing 12-year-old is found safe

EDNEYVILLE — Sheriff's deputies have located a 12-year-old boy who had been reported missing earlier today. The boy, last seen around 7:30 Wednesday night around his home on Whitehead Road in Edneyville was safely located near his home, the sheriff's office said in a news release at 11:30 a.m.

Kellan Joshua Myers is  4’9”, 67 lbs. with brown eyes and brown hair. He is possibly carrying a blue LL Bean backpack and maybe wearing black tennis shoes and a ninja turtle t shirt. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 697-4911.
