Humane Society sponsors rescue pet photo contest

The Blue Ridge Humane Society is inviting the owners of rescued pets to submit photos for a contest called “You Can’t Buy Love But You Can Rescue It.”

Winning photos will receive a prize from Wag! A Unique Pet Boutique and will be exhibited at Sanctuary Brewing Company. For details visit click here.

All images must be submitted through the website. The shelter asked for a $15 donation for each entry. Proceeds go directly to veterinary services for shelter animals. You may enter as many photos as you would like. Judging will be conducted by the Camera Club of Hendersonville. Blue Ridge Humane Society will notify the winners by Feb. 6. All winning photos will be on display at Sanctuary Brewing starting February 10th. Winners will also be awarded the following prizes.

Awards are:

— First place: A Professional Family Photo Session (valued at over $100), Wag! A Pet Boutique Gift Card, Photo exhibited at Sanctuary Brewing

— Second Place: Wag! A Pet Boutique Gift Card, Photo exhibited at Sanctuary Brewing,

— Third Place will receive:Wag! A Pet Boutique Gift Card, Photo exhibited at Sanctuary Brewing, 15

— Honorable Mention winners will receive: Photo exhibited at Sanctuary Brewing
