$6,000 reward in burglary produces leads, arrests

A homeowner's offer of a $6,000 reward to help solve a burglary at his home in Triple Creek resulted in several tips and charges against four people in their 20s, the Henderson County sheriff's office said.

After a breaking and entering on Dec. 14 on Triple Creek Drive, the victim offered the reward. After media reports about the reward, several tips came in to the sheriff's office. One tip led to further investigation by detectives resulting in charges against four individuals connected to the December breaking and entering. Two women were arrested while two men remain at large. Charged are:

· Kayla Michelle Avilla, 26, of 911 Ashley Lane in Hendersonville, was arrested on charges of Felony Conspiracy to Commit Breaking and Entering and Possession of Stolen Property. Avilla was arrested on April 16 and released from the Henderson County Jail under a $2,000 secured bond.

· Miranda Jean York, 27, of 90 Goode Drive in Mills River, was arrested on charges of Felony Conspiracy to Commit Breaking and Entering and Possession of Stolen Property. York was arrested on April 19 and released from the Henderson County Jail under a $4,000 secured bond.

· Michael Kyle Snyder, 24, has been charged with Felony Conspiracy to Commit Breaking and Entering, Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering.

· Justin Tyler Hayes, 25, has been charged with Felony Conspiracy to Commit Breaking and Entering, Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering.
