Hendersonville man sent to prison on robbery charges

A Hendersonvile man was sentenced to 6½ years in prison after his conviction on three counts of common law robbery.

 

            Nathan A. Turner, of 65 Flintwood Lane, pleaded guilty to three counts of Common Law Robbery.  Turner was sentenced to 78 months in prison.

In other cases handled in Henderson County Superior Court terms Dec. 11-15:

  •             Joshua C. Wood, of 19 N. Ann Street, Asheville, pled guilty to Obtaining Property by False Pretense and Attempted Identity Theft.  Wood was sentenced to 50 months in prison.
  •            Scott A. Hildebrand, of 26 Hidden Valley Drive, Etowah, pled guilty to Obtaining Property by False Pretense.  Hildebrand was sentenced to 29 months in prison.
  •             Stacy D. Rudisill, of 55 Partner Drive, Hendersonville, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by Felon and was sentenced to 27 months in prison.
  • Tyler C. Lamb, of 516 Burge Mountain Road, Hendersonville, pled guilty to Breaking and/or Entering, Larceny after Breaking and/or Entering, Possession of Heroin, Driving While Impaired and Driving While License Revoked.  Lamb was sentenced to 24 months in prison and a $500.00 fine.

In Transylvania County:

  •             James N. Bowman, of 1445 Soco Road, Maggie Valley, pled guilty to Felony Larceny and was sentenced to 33 months in prison.
  •             Reno G Welyczko, of 151 Big BS Way, Brevard, pled guilty to Misdemeanor Larceny and was sentenced to 92 days confinement.  Welyczko was granted credit for time served.

            Superior Court Judge Jeffrey P. Hunt presided.
