Restaurant Week features top eateries

Hendersonville is holding its first restaurant week March 15-24, featuring an impressive variety of restaurants from across the county.

The 10-day event encourages locals and visitors to explore area eateries featuring prix fixe multicourse menus. Participating restaurants run the gamut from fine dining to upscale casual to innovative tasting room food trucks.

“The dining scene in Hendersonville is growing, so this is the restaurants’ time to shine,” said organizer Laura Huff. “It’s a great way for restaurants to share favorite dishes or new items.”

Featuring set-priced lunch menus for $10 or $15 and dinner menus for $20, $30 or $35, Hendersonville Restaurant Week allows diners to check out new restaurants and sample a variety of dishes without making a large investment. Participating restaurants include Black Rose Public House, Bold Rock Hard Cider, Brooks Tavern, Flat Rock Wood Room, Hannah Flanagan’s, Mezzaluna, Never Blue, Old Orchard Tavern, Postero, Season’s at Highland Lake and the Dugout Taproom & Grill.

Several lodging partners will offer special rates or packages during Hendersonville Restaurant Week, such as stay two nights and get a third night free. A portion of Restaurant Week proceeds will benefit Dandelion, the job-training cafe in downtown Hendersonville for Safelight, a nonprofit that assists victims of domestic violence.
