Deputies seeking S.C. man for knife assault

Henderson County sheriff's deputies charged a South Carolina man with assault after he allegedly stabbed an acquaintance at a home on Tracy Grove Road shortly before midnight on Friday, July 13.

Law officers say Regis Robinson, 21, of Barnwell, S.C., broke into the house, assaulted a victim with a knife and fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Investigators learned Robinson is an acquaintance of the victim. Robinson is charged in arrest warrants with felony breaking and entering with the intent to terrorize and injure an occupant of the residence and felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflict serious injury.
