Murder suspect caught
Kenneth Lanord Mills Jr.
Law officers have arrested the suspect in the shooting death last week of Lavoris Jermaine Brown in Green Meadows.
Hendersonville Police detectives, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Office and the State Bureau of Investigation arrested Kenneth Lanord Mills Jr. without incident after a traffic stop. He was transported to the Henderson County Detention Center where he is being held without bond on a charge of first-degree murder. Mills will have a first appearance in Henderson County District Court on Tuesday.
