City man charged with child sex abuse

A 76-year-old Hendersonville man was jailed under a $150,000 bond after his arrest Wednesday on child sex abuse charges, the sheriff's office said.

Sheriff's deputies made the arrest after the Henderson County Department of Social Services reported the alleged assault. After an investigation, detectives obtained a warrant for felony first degree statutory sex offense against George Daniel Summey, of 240 Elson Avenue.
