Drug squad makes arrests on multiple felonies

After receiving numerous complaints regarding drug traffic in Hendersonville, deputies and members of the Henderson County Drug Task Force conducted a traffic stop that led to an arrest and issuance of search warrant at 19 Jerry Lane on May 31.



Elizabeth Leigh Rodgers, 33, of Peach Tree Lane was stopped and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver Suboxone, possession of methamphetamine and possession of Suboxone, all felonies. She was released after posting a $20,500 bond.

While waiting to serve on the search warrant at 19 Jerry Lane, a vehicle pulled and left after seeing the law enforcement officers. After a traffic stop was conducted of that vehicle and the subsequent execution of the search warrant at 19 Jerry Lane, Joshua Daniel Galvin, 37, was arrested charged with  two elony counts possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of sale and delivery of a controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle for the purpose of sale and delivery of a controlled substance, two felony counts possession of Suboxone, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Galvin was released after posting a $31,000 bond. Galvin was arrested again on two felony counts of possession of a firearm by felon on June 6. He was released after posting a $40,000 bond.


In another case, the Henderson County Drug Task Force with the assistance from the Henderson County Crime Suppression Unit, executed a search warrant on Jade Drive in Hendersonville at 4 p.m. June 7. Detectives seized crack cocaine, MDMA (ecstasy),marijuana, digital scales, and drug paraphernalia. Following the execution of the search warrant, detectives arrested two individuals.

Kenneth James Jeter, 30, of Jade Drive, was charged with:

- Felony possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver
- Felony conspire to sell or deliver cocaine
- Felony possession of a schedule I substance
- Felony maintain a vehicle/dwelling for the purpose of keeping or selling a controlled substance
- Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia

Jeter remains in the Henderson County Jail under a $33,000 secured bond.


Shamieka Shonta Durham, 30, of Jade Drive, was charged with:

- Felony possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver
- Felony conspire to sell or deliver cocaine
- Felony possession of a schedule I substance
- Felony maintain a vehicle/dwelling for the purpose of keeping or selling a controlled substance
- Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
- Misdemeanor possession of marijuana

Durham remains in the Henderson County Jail under a $33,000 secured bond.
