Man charged with felony burglaries of storage buildings

Responding to several reports of burglaries of storage buildings in Edneyville on June 5 and June 22, detectives with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 31-year-old man and charged him with multiple felonies.

Duane Harold Burgess is charged with five counts Felony Breaking & Entering, five counts Felony Larceny after breaking & entering , one count Felony Obtain Property by False Pretense and one count Possession of Stolen Property. He was jailed under a $130,000 secured bond. The investigation is still ongoing and more charges are expected.
