Children & Family Resource Center hires new director

The Children and Family Resource Center has hired a new executive director.

After a nationwide search that yielded more than 100 applicants, and after four rounds of vetting and interviewing, the center announced that Jamie Wiener has accepted the role as executive director, Anderson Ellis, the immediate past president of the CFRC Board and head of the executive director search, announced.

"Jamie has been with the Center since 2012, and in that time has worked in communications, grant writing, fundraising, and (most recently) as the Director of Finance, overseeing the Center’s annual budgets, payroll, and grant reporting," Ellis said. "It would be nearly impossible to find anyone who knows the innerworkings of CFRC better than Jamie, and the Board has no doubt that she will transition into this new role with the same dedication and passion that she’s brought to each of her other roles. We are excited for her to begin her work as Executive Director on Monday, Sept. 16."
