Traffic stop leads to bust for 5 ounces of meth

MILLS RIVER — Henderson County sheriff's deputies charged a 44-year-old Arden man with drug trafficking after seizing five ounces of methamphetamine from his car during a traffic stop on Boylston Highway in Mills River on Tuesday. 

 

The sheriff’s office Crime Suppression Unit along with its Drug Enforcement Team charged Jose Mario Garcia-Vazquez with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Garcia-Vazquez was jailed in the Henderson County Detention Center under a $20,500 bond.
