City mulch giveaway starts Thursday

The city mulch giveaway is scheduled to resume this week and continue until Nov. 2. The city will have a backhoe operator on site at the city wastewater treatment plant at 80 Balfour Road on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Hours are 3-7 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 8 a.m.-noon Saturdays. For more information contact the Public Works Department at 828-697-3084.
