Ervin Bazzle, who served on the Henderson County School Board for 20 years including 16 as chairman, has filed to rejoin the board.
Bazzle, a retired attorney and graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, served on the School Board for 20 years until he lost his seat four years ago. Also running for the board this year are Michael Absher and Blair Craven and challengers Florence Allbaugh, Robert Bridges, Walter Doughty and Stacey Caskey.
